On Saturday, June 6, BLACK VEIL BRIDES released the following statement via social media: “Due to an unfortunate personal and private matter, our brother Christian Coma will not be on stage with us for the remainder of the 2026 European tour. We apologize for those who have noted the already announced Milan cancellation but this is a circumstance we needed to make adjustments to handle. Our friend Wade Murff will be joining us for the remainder of the tour after Rock Am Ring and we look forward to seeing everyone at all of the subsequent shows. CC will be rejoining the tour for leg 2 in the US, please send him love and light at this time.”

Wade Murff made his live debut with GODSMACK on May 8 at the Welcome To Rockville festival in Daytona Beach, Florida. He had been set to continue as the band’s touring drummer throughout the remainder of “The Rise Of Rock” 2026 North American tour, which is currently scheduled to conclude in late September. However, with Murff now joining BLACK VEIL BRIDES for their upcoming European dates, it remains uncertain who will handle drumming duties for GODSMACK when the Sully Erna-led group returns to the road on June 12 in Riverside, Missouri.

Black Veil Brides are playing live in Athens, Greece, at Release Athens Festival, on June 28.

Primal Fear shared the following statement on social media on Wednesday, April 8: “An important message to all our fans about the South American tour. Sadly we have to tell you that Mat won’t be able to join the band on the forthcoming shows in Argentina and Brazil. Mat lost a fight against a drumriser in London and slashed his right leg in a very evil way. After some more shows the doctors in Norway planned to have a surgery on his leg because the infection was already on a bad level and to prevent a sepsis. Mat is now at home and needs to recover for another 3-4 weeks to avoid any operation. Doctors say it would be a huge risk to sit in a plane for 15 hours — health comes first. This wasn’t an easy decision. We know many of you were looking forward to seeing us together on stage and Mat is truly sorry for any disappointment this may cause. We promise to give 200% on the shows and Mat will be replaced by GAMMA RAY’s Dirk Schlächter. Thank you for your understanding, your patience, belief and faith”.

Mat Sinner (born Matthias Lasch), who also serves as producer for Primal Fear, reportedly experienced a severe adverse reaction to a COVID-19 vaccination in 2021 and underwent treatment in various hospitals for eight months. Due to his health issues, the band canceled all scheduled shows in 2021 and 2022, later bringing in Alex Jansen as a temporary replacement.

Yesterday, the former BATTLE BEAST guitarist released the following message via social media: “Without further ado, sadly I have to tell you that I won’t be able to join my bandmates on the North American tour. I need to stay behind because it’s absolutely vital for the new album, which is still work in progress.

“Making this album has been imbued with constant distractions, challenges, deviations and problems which have effectively stanched the creative, technical and practical workflow beyond acceptable, especially in the past couple of years. But reality always wins. However, the album has finally reached a pivotal checkpoint but requires my utmost attention more than ever to make sure it lives up to what you’ve been waiting for, and what you deserve from us.

“This wasn’t an easy decision. I know many of you were looking forward to seeing us together on stage, and I’m truly sorry for any disappointment this may cause. The band will still be going out there giving you the best-of-the-BEAST shows, and I fully stand behind them.

“Thank you for your understanding, your patience, and for always standing by us. We can’t wait to share the new music with you and be back on stage together again as soon as possible”.

Beast in Black kicked off its North American tour alongside Helloween yesterday night (Tuesday, April 7) in Dallas, with the run set to wrap up on May 2 in Las Vegas.
