The historic Greek progressive metal band Fragile Vastness return in 2026 with a new album. The band’s bassist and co-founder (alongside drummer Mpampis Tsolakis) Vangelis Yalamas shared the following statement on his official Facebook page:

“Fragile Vastness were formed in 1999 by myself and Mpampis Tsolakis. The two of us have always been the driving force behind the band, and we continue in that role in 2026 with a fourth album full of prog rock/metal compositions, without compromising their quality for the sake of publicity or current trends.

The contributors on vocals and guitar will be many. Guests, friends, familiar faces, as well as newcomers—each one will give their best to elevate every track.

The first single is coming in a few days along with a video, titled ‘Crash and Burn’, with music written by me and lyrics by Danae Papadrossou, who also handles the vocals, while George Bourogiannis has added the perfect solo the song needed.

With each new single, apart from the video, there will also be a photo featuring the members involved in that particular track.
