PARAGON: WORKING ON A NEW ALBUM

by MythofRock

German power metal veterans Paragon are working on new demo songs for the album that will follow 2019’s “Controlled Demolition”.

Here is what the quintet stated: “Long time no hear but of course we are still alive! Unfortunately we only had one gig since the virus started to turn the world upside down, but now it slowly seems to go back to normal even though it’s still difficult to be sure when booking new shows as they might get postponed because of new restrictions or increased travel costs.

“So we started to rehearse again on a regular basis and also started to add songs to the setlist which we didn’t play in a long time or not played at all. There were also gig inquiries from outside Germany but unfortunately we couldn’t manage to play these shows this year because costs for flights would still be much too expensive.

“We have recorded a lot of instrumental demos and will continue to work on them soon. We not yet have solid plans for recordings or a release date, but maybe we will record guitars and bass in Jan Bünning’s little home studio, drums and choirs in our rehearsal room and lead vocal recordings and the endmix will be handled by Piet Sielck again. So there will be some updates soon and we will also announce some liveshows!”.
