REDEMPTION: ALDER OUT, ENGLUND IN

by MythofRock

Ray Alder is no longer the lead vocalist of Redemption. The reasons of Alder’s departure haven’t been declared. The U.S. prog metal band has already found a replacement; the band’s new singer is Tom Englund of Evergrey. So, the line-up of Redemption is now the following; Tom Englund, Nick Van Dyk (guitar), Sean Andrews (bass) and Chris Quirarte (drums). Van Dyk mentioned;”We are delighted to welcome Tom as the voice of Redemption. He has an incredibly powerful, soulful and emotional voice that our music really demands and we are quite confident that people will be blown away by what we have created together.”

The new Redemption album, “Long Night’s Journey Into Day”, will be released in the beginning of 2018 via Metal Blade. The production was handled by Jacob Hansen and there are some guest appearances, by Chris Poland and Simone Mularoni (DGM).
