Trailer για το επερχόμενο album τους μόλις κυκλοφόρησαν οι Tobias Sammet’s Avantasia. Σε αυτό μπορείτε να ακούσετε μικρά αποσπάσματα από πέντε νέα τραγούδια (τα “Let The Storm Descend Upon You”, “Unchain The Light”, “Master Of The Pendulum”, “Seduction Of Decay” και “Ghostlights”) από το album, που θα φέρει τον τίτλο “Ghostlights”. Το έβδομο album των Avantasia θα κυκλοφορήσει στις 29 Ιανουαρίου 2016 από την Nuclear Blast και θα περιέχει 12 τραγούδια. Η παραγωγή έγινε από τον Sammet και τον Sascha Paeth στα Gatestudio στο Wolfsburg της Γερμανίας. Η μίξη έγινε από τον Paeth και το mastering από τον Michael Rodenberg. Οι τίτλοι των νέων τραγουδιών είναι οι εξής: “Mystery Of A Blood Red Rose” (είχε κυλοφορήσει πιο πριν ως digital single), “Let The Storm Descend Upon You”, “The Haunting”, “Seduction Of Decay”, “Ghostlights”, “Draconian Love”, “Master Of The Pendulum”, “Isle Of Evermore”, “Babylon Vampyres”, “Lucifer”, “Unchain The Light”, “A Restless Heart And Obsidian Skies”, “Wake Up To The Moon” (bonus track). To “Ghostlights”, όπως όλα τα Avantasia albums θα έχει πολλές σπουδαίες guest συμμετοχές: Dee Snider (Twisted Sister), Geoff Tate (Queensryche), Marco Hietala (Nightwish), Sharon Den Adel (Within Temptation), Michael Kiske (Helloween, Unisonic), Ronnie Atkins (Pretty Maids), Bob Catley (Magnum), Jorn Lande (Masterplan), Bruce Kulick (KISS), Robert Mason (Warrant), Herbie Langhans (Seventh Avenue, Sinbreed), Sascha Paeth, Michael Rodenberg, Oliver Hartmann και Felix Bohnke.
